ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY

Astro-English: from Astronese, the word astranthropy makes use of the prefix astra- as a variation of the prefix astro- which is used to denote the astronomical world or its phenomena while the suffix -anthropy comes from the Greek word anthrōpos meaning “man”, altogether literally meaning “human transformation into the stars.”
